I recently helped a friend with his first spearfishing gear and realized that I had amassed a lot of knowledge over the years which would be useful to beginners.
Not living near a large body of water it makes it hard for some people to get the answers to questions and to even know what questions to ask; searching the internet often yields fragmented information which makes it hard to make a decision.
In my first posts I will talk about different aspects of gear, giving mostly the raw information with some personal preferences where applicable. I hope this will be useful for some of you :-).
